Posted: Sunday, March 29, 2009, 8:57 PM
In January 2009, as part of the This is My City initiative and The High Performance Rodeo, a play called The Invisible Project was performed at City Hall and at the Drop-In Centre shelter. This play was researched at the Mustard Seed and Drop-In Centre shelters. It was a collectively created play that included monologues based on real stories, the use of mask, and creative movement. To see photos by mask maker Douglas R. Witt and listen to an audio documentary about the play that includes recordings from the performances and interviews with director and facilitator David van Belle, actor Richard Lee Hsi, and a shelter client and volunteer, please visit the Dramatic Impact blog web site. Dramatic Impact is a podcast about acting and theatre in Alberta. |
