Community Engagement Facilitator (CEF)

Working out of the Arusha Centre, for CHAI.

Start Date: depending on the successful candidate's availability.
Hours: 20-30 hours/week (negotiable), occasional evenings or weekend meetings.
Contract Duration: 6-9 month term contract (depending on hours).
Compensation: $24/hr - hourly rate (includes benefits paid out).

What is CHAI?

The Calgary Housing Action Initiative (CHAI) is a citizens action group supporting community engagement of people from across the Calgary community to create a collective voice in advocacy and action for housing for all.

Job Description:

The CHAI Community Engagement Facilitator will oversee the development of organizational infrastructure to support the engagement of members of the Calgary community in the activities of CHAI and build the capacity of CHAI to function as a volunteer run organization. This will include performing the various communication support and administrative tasks, until the infrastructure (funded and/or volunteer) is in place to sustain those functions.
