The media has recently reported that there is an anonymous property owner in Calgary who has decided to subsidize 16 units in order to enable currently homeless people to have a real home. CUPS has partnered with this landlord to find tenants.

I encourage all property owners who can afford it to work with social agencies to provide a certain percentage of your rental units at a reduced price to people who would not otherwise be able to afford to have a space of their own.
